How to do it

  1. Drop your WebP files below, or click to browse. Add as many as you want.
  2. Format is already set to JPG. Pick a size preset if you also need to resize.
  3. Press Convert, then download each image or grab them all as a zip.

Why WebP will not open

WebP is a Google format built for websites. Browsers handle it fine, but plenty of desktop software, older phones and marketplace uploaders still reject it. JPG is understood everywhere, which is why converting is usually the fastest fix.

What you lose

WebP and JPG are both lossy, so converting re-encodes the image once. At quality 85 the difference is invisible for photos. Keep quality high if the image is going to be edited again afterwards.

Questions

Is this free?

Yes, completely. No account, no watermark, no cap on how many files you convert.

Are my files uploaded?

No. The conversion runs in your browser using your own device. Your images never reach a server.

Can I convert many WebP files at once?

Yes. Drop as many as you like and download the results as a single zip.

Does WebP with transparency work?

Yes, but JPG has no transparency, so transparent areas become white. Choose PNG instead if you need to keep them.
